Tech Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tech Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing top-notch support to end-users. In this critical role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring users experience minimal disruptions and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first and second-level technical support to internal and external users through various channels, including phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues efficiently and accurately.
- Document and maintain detailed records of service requests, incidents, and resolutions using our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and implement solutions for complex technical problems.
- Assist in the setup, deployment, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in technology and tech support.
- Provide training and guidance to users on software and hardware functionalities.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Tech Support Engineer or similar role in a technical support environment.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, network configurations, and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
