Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports to: Director, FP&A

Location: Las Vegas, NV – in office 4 or 5 days a week

Summary: 

The Pavilion Payments Senior Financial Analyst will have 5–8 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management. This role involves analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and preparing reports for management.  This position requires strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address and communicate with various audiences including senior management, lenders and private equity owners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to business in the development and reporting of budgets, forecasts, investment and other related processes and initiatives. 

  • Ability to lead projects, manage teams and mentor junior analysts
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Prepare executive level presentations on financial analytics and data and present to diverse audiences
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, special projects, and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with the accounting team leaders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and alignment between actuals and forecasts

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • NetSuite experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail
